Blog
Some frequent blogging by the EKO Team...
17th of April 2008 (11:11PM) - And so we have another blog entry. Woo. I have updated the Events section of the website by adding a new entry as to how we did with the selling at the Dance Show. The answer, was of course, was very, very well. We managed to raise £70 for both nights which is quite a lot of money, and money that will help the business as well. I personally think that the err, brains of Thomas, brawns of Scott and perfect charm of Dan made the err selling a success...... *wink**wink*. No, that wasn't me hitting on you err..... Next subject.
Jess came to me with regards about our events and sales because she didn't have the events and sales with her during the two weeks we had off to err "revise". And seeing as I have just added a few events up, I would probably need to add all the events and sales up from when we first started selling. That's about 7-10 sales? Give or take?
Give me feedback.
And GIVE ME THE MONEY.

30th of March 2008 (6:08PM) - After the massive win that Newcastle had against Tottenham (4-1), I found some inspiration and determination to re-create the banner. For the last few hours I've been with my brother designing and creating a new banner that is hip, cool and shows who we are. We designed the banner you currently see at the top of the page, blue background, welcome message, 3D beads etc. and it's also animated - which is what Alex asked for as well. Everything seems pretty much done and updated, just waiting for some feedback now which I'm sure to get next week, along with the update on how our selling event went at Boundstone. I've also changed the enquiry form E-mail address to Toms' WSGFL account, I've sent a form and asked Tom to mail me back which he did.
Rock on Tommy.

30th of March 2008 (1:59AM) - Yes I know, it's late. But I'm sure that an hour has been added on somewhere...
Been working on the webpage for oooooo... let's see... about 5 hours. I've got a lot to show for it, I've added a new section called "Events" - this section is really 'cool' because it logs the venues we've been to, when we're selling and where. Good idea huh? Should have thought of it before. I've added the Young Enterprise Trade Fair into the events section, just information about when and where we were selling, and then and update on how it went, I've also added a Sales update on where we are selling next, which is at Boundstone on the 2nd and 4th on April which Scott and I will attend. I've also added those two branches I talked about briefly before in the last blog. In the "About Us" section I've replaced the company structure with information about EKO, where we are located out, Young Enterprise and how we heard about it. I've added the branches "The Team" and "Responsibilities". "The Team" section has the names of everyone in EKO, and their roles, and I was thinking of adding mug shots of us on there as well - as was suggested by various members. So whenever we have free time, let's start snapping. The "Responsibilities" section basically has the company structure that we had before on the old "About Us" page. I've updated the structure to it's final state by removing Darren from HR assistant and making him solely the MD. Apart from that, nothing much else until I wake up in the morning when I'll be modifying the banner. I've been on the website for quite some time now and the colour scheme is growing on me, I like it and I'm getting use to it. I hope everyone else thinks the same - feedback.

29th of March 2008 (8:02PM) - This is the first blog by the EKO Team, woohoo! Alright, one major thing has been changed... EVERYTHING! We have a new colour scheme, we previously had Black and grey but it looked too dull and intimidating, so I've change it to red and light red. I'll have to see if the feedback is positive. At the moment the banner has not been modified, the reason for that is because I'm going to change it tomorrow (Hopefully if I'm not busy) and then it won't be Christmas or the new year anymore. Woo... I'm currently working on adding a lot more information to every section of the website and adding more sections. Obviously I've added a new section called "Blog", I was thinking of adding one more section and two extra branches coming off the "About Us" page.
Until next time.
